Unfortunately, the latest film 'Inferno' is no better, in fact all the mistakes made in 'Angels and Demons' are made here and made bigger while a few more grievous ones are made. Personally didn't mind 'The Da Vinci Code', though it was a long way from great, but 'Angels and Demons' while with some good things was lacklustre. Since the gesso is obviously dry, as they both handle the mask without any residue sticking to their hands, it is impossible to simply wipe the gesso away with a rag, given the fact that acrylic gesso is waterproof once dry, forming a plastic like layer, very much like acrylic house paint. She then proceeds to wipe the gesso away with a rag thus revealing the next clue. Goofs When Langdon and Sienna remove the death mask from the baptismal, Sienna states that it is covered in 'Acrylic Gesso' which she claims is a water soluble paint.
